  1. Duvel just does that–it’s an incredibly foamy beer. How’s it taste in comparison to the bottles we get in the US?

    (I am experiencing a flush of intense envy…)

  2. Couldn’t taste a huge difference in Duvel, but I had a Poperings Hommel Bier last night that was WAY better than a bottle I had in the US. I think it’s all about storage. On another Duvel trivia point, they sell a 33cl bottle here with green type and white label called “baby Duvel,” colloquially. It’s slightly less alcoholic, pasteurized and force carbonated. If I am brave, maybeI will give it a try. Sounds bad, though.
